League of Legends Champions Korea, aka the LCK, is back again for the Summer Split following the earlier Spring Split. LCK Summer 2024 will start on June 12 and end on September 8, for 12 weeks of high-stakes LoL action.

Renowned for producing world-class talent like T1's Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyeok, whose iconic champions were recently honored in patch 14.12's Hall of Legends skins, the LCK continues to be a powerhouse in the global League of Legends scene. This dominance was evident in the recent Mid-Season Invitational in May, where Gen.G Esports clinched victory, securing an additional seed for Korea in the upcoming LoL Worlds 2024.

As the current world champions, T1 are eager to defend their title, but they will face fierce competition from nine other teams vying for the top spot. LCK Summer Split 2024: Format

It's set to be a summer of action as the ten established teams fight to become champions in Korea's top-tier League of Legends league. There's a lot at stake, as the winner of the LCK Summer Split gets a ticket straight to LoL Worlds in September.

Group Stage (June 12 - August 18)

• Matches are played as a double round-robin, where all matches are best-of-three (Bo3).
• Each team plays a grand total of 18 matches
• 1st to 6th placed teams from the Regular Season Group Stage advance to the Playoffs
• The remaining teams are eliminated

Playoffs (August 23 - September 8)

• Double elimination format, all matches are best-of-five (Bo5), including the Grand Final at the end of the tournament.
• The winner qualifies for LoL Worlds.

LCK Summer 2024: Teams

After an action-packed MSI, eyes are turning towards the second split of the year with LCK Summer and the ten competing teams.

Gen. G Esports took the first split title in Spring in February, with the reigning Worlds champions T1 coming in as a close runner-up. Which team will represent Korea's might in LoL Worlds? Only time will tell.

LCK Summer 2024: Schedule

The LCK Summer Split will run from June 12 until September 14, 2024. The League of Legends Champions Korea governing board announced that there will be a week-long break in July to accommodate the teams attending the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

LCK Summer 2024: Streams

All games during the regular season of LCK Summer 2024 will be held at LoL Park in Seoul, Korea. This purpose-built venue has a capacity of 400 spectators, making for an intimate and exciting viewing experience. The LCK Summer Playoffs will be held at the KSPO Dome.

From June 12, LCK fans who want to tune into the matches online will have plenty of live broadcasts available. The English-speaking stream is on the official LCK Twitch channel, which is embedded below.
